Fascinating faces, serene landscapes, moody still life, animals and family pets, all are sources for Sharon’s painting inspiration in oil and other mediums. She tries to capture the feeling of the subject matter by concentrating on the play of light and shadow over forms.

Sharon was a member and past-President of the Ottawa Art Association. She is a member of the Ottawa-based Plein Air Ensemble. She has exhibited at Park Art and the Bonnechere Museum in Eganville, Ontario. She has also exhibited at Galerie Old Chelsea in Old Chelsea, Québec, and at Galerie de la Rive in Rockland, Ontario.
